Welcome to the Stockbridge Sportsmen's Club - Situated on
119 scenic acres in the heart of the Berkshires, the club provides a secure and dedicated environment for fellowship and pursuit
of the outdoor sports. Our facilities are open to members and their guests, and we welcome new applications for membership
that are sponsored by a current member. In addition, our spacious banquet hall is available to the public for private functions,
meetings and catered events. See the Club contact information at the bottom of this page.
CLUB NOTES Mike Buffoni coordinated another successful Youth Turkey Hunt. 11
Hunters took to the field on Saturday and 4 bagged toms while 2 others had birds in range but their shots just missed their
mark. The final 5 had gobblers calling but just couldn't work them in close enough to get a shot. A big thanks go out to all
the mentors and Mike Buffoni for his tireless efforts coordinating this event and congratulations to all the youth
hunters for even trying to fill their tag. Look on the events and calendar page for some pictures of the
lucky hunters. Kids remain the future of our club. Club Members are encouraged to bring your child (or grandchild) to the
Kids Derby at Minklers Pond on Tree Farm Road May 12th. Fishing starts at 9am and
wraps up for hot dogs and prizes at 11am. Dust off the fishing gear and go for the big one at the Stockbridge
Bowl for our Annual Spring Fishing Derby on May 20th starting at dawn to 3pm. MONTHLY WORK BEES: To be held on the first Saturday of each month, starting at 7:00
AM and running until about 11:00 AM. May with continue with Spring Clean-up! Bring your pruning shears, gloves,
a rake, a shovel, hammer or any implement that will clip it, trim it, clean it, fix it or fine-tune it. There's
no shortage of things to do so c'mon up and help out at YOUR CLUB. See the Events and Calendar page for date announcements. ♦

80 Basic Hunter Education courses around the State each year. You must attend one of these courses to be elligible for a hunting
license. Enrollment opens 60 days prior to the course date, and classes fill very quickly thereafter. You can register online

DUES: Your 2012 membership renewal is now overdue if you have not already paid. The newsletters have renewal
forms at the bottom that you can send in with payment. Don't forget to update your contact information and be sure to include
