CLUB NOTES

CONGRATULATIONS to JOHN MANGE on being announced as the 2014 Sportsman of the Year. You bet this guy deserves it for all he's done for the sporting community. I won't break confidentiality by saying how many years he's been doing it but suffice to say it has been a loooooong time!
The Skip Whalen ECHO LAKE ICE FISHING DERBY was another great success! Thank you to over 180 registered hearty participants at our signature event. This was our best showing in years and clearly. A 6 lb bass took top honors wtih over 20 fish registered at over 3 pounds. If you missed out this year then you might want to clear your schedule for attending next year. See our sponsors page and a very heartfelt thank you tothe following volunteers: Skip and Myra Whalen, Marty Salvadore. Tim Minkler, Jeff St. John, Tom Race, Linda Cardillo, Dave Slosek, Wayne Slosek, Craig Whalen, Gary Johnston, Dave Smith, George Chasse, Peter DelGrande, Gail Guarda, Bonnie Bonn-Buffoni, Mike Buffoni, Sue Whalen and Neil Obanhein.
